Abundant Care is looking for a Field RN Sup responsible for overseeing the delivery of safe, effective, and family-centered pediatric home health services. This role involves direct clinical supervision of field nurses (LPNs, RNs), ensuring compliance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and agency protocols. The Field RN Supervisor acts as a clinical liaison between families, physicians, and the home health team to promote optimal outcomes for medically fragile children in the home setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and ongoing in-home supervisory visits with pediatric patients in accordance with state regulations and agency policies.
Assess the appropriateness and quality of care provided by field staff, including LPNs and RNs.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure comprehensive care planning and case management for pediatric clients.
Review and approve care plans, medication profiles, and physician orders; notify physician of changes in patient condition.
Train, mentor, and clinically support field staff in pediatric-specific skills such as trach care, G-tube management, ventilator care, seizure precautions, and emergency protocols.
Respond to urgent clinical issues, family concerns, or care escalations with professionalism and clinical soundness.
Review documentation and ensure timely submission of visit notes, supervisory notes, and assessments into the EMR.
Participate in case conferences, quality assurance/improvement activities, and staff performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with agency protocols, Medicaid/insurance guidelines, and state licensure requirements.
Support new hire orientation and skills validation of pediatric field staff.
Maintain communication with families, patients, and interdisciplinary team to foster continuity of care and patient/family satisfaction.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of PA
- FBI FINGERPRINT, PA PATCH Background Check and Child Abuse Clearances.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in home health or critical care settings.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficient in pediatric trach/vent care, enteral feeding, seizure management, and emergency pediatric response.
- Must be able to Do Pediatric Assesments , Complete Oasis, and Complete Plan of Cares.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and insurance.
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to train others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Must be able to drive around and service our patients in DEL CO, MONT CO, PHL CO, and CHES CO
Compensation: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
